When someone asks for help, giving advice feels useful.
But try this sequence:
Define. Diagnose. Borrow. Decide.
First: What are you actually trying to accomplish?
Second: What’s really happening?
Third: What can we learn from other perspectives?
Then decide.
Advice comes third, not first.
Why?
Because advice given before understanding often solves the wrong problem.
Today, when someone asks, “What would you do?”
Don’t answer immediately.
Help them think first.
Practice Define → Diagnose → Borrow → Decide in one conversation.
